Paul Ticzon & Parc Cruz Workshop was another workshop which allowed me to be with my photo buddies from the Some Like It Hot Workshop 🙂 This workshop got me to meet Kookai Sarmiento and Kim Domingo! Two models who are very much mainstream nowadays 🙂 Paul Ticzon & Parc Cruz Workshop is a 2-day event consisting of shooting and direction on Day 1 by Direk Paul, and then a post-processing
Paul Ticzon’s Some Like It Hot Workshop is the best workshops I ever attended, and helped in shaping the foundations that I needed to have to do sexy/boudoir portraits up until today. I consider Direk Paul as one of the best in the industry in terms of his folio into boudoir and sexy portraits. Happy I was able to attend this again and again over the years and learn from
Ticzon, Ladia & Cruz’s: The Black Project to me is every newbie photographers dream. Getting Paul Ticzon, Ricky Ladia, and Parc Cruz under one roof to provide you a 2-day course on photography focusing on shooting (Ticzon), lighting (Ladia), and post-processing (Cruz) was truly a treat. Happy to attend the The Black Project Workshop which allowed me to be with my photo buddies from the Some Like It Hot Workshop.
Fade Longboy’s Siesta Series Workshop was one of my more awaited wokshops because of the fact that I just recently found him at the time. I was starting to find my own style then and I wanted to look different from the rest of the photographers I followed. Then one day via Tumblr, I found Fade posting these amazing pics with his friend Jash Manuel. Fade Longboy’s Siesta Series Workshop
Jerico Montemayor’s Illuminate Workshop is another informative workshop by Sir Jerico organized by the Studio 54 gang. This workshop tackled shooting indoor and outdoor and how different light conditions and shooting angles will help you shoot beautiful images. Jerico Montemayor’s Illuminate Workshop also had a question and answer segment which helped us participants ask questions not limited to the workshop’s scope. This showed how much Sir Jericho was experienced in
Niko Villegas’ Light and Motion Workshop focused on shooting using your own lighting setup and considering colors and motion in your images. What I liked about this shoot was that we were taught how to shoot against strobes and also setup our own lights in the process. The staff was really accommodating and even helped out when the participants were having issues setting up their lights for the first time.
Jerico Montemayor’s Pro-Grade Portfolio Workshop is very informative. This was organized by the Studio 54 gang. I even got to shoot FHM Philippines and Premiere Vixens’ model, Miss Bianca Peralta. Enjoy sobra! 🙂 Jerico Montemayor’s Pro-Grade Portfolio Workshop tackles lighting and shooting with strobes. What I appreciated about this workshop was a full set design wherein we were able to shoot Bianca Peralta in several settings. Sir Jerico also will
I would have never thought of experiencing the worst workshop that I have had in photography. Considering a Lito Sy & Keda Z: Impart 2 Workshop was the most costly workshop that I have had — fee was around PHP12,500. The Lito Sy & Keda Z: Impart 2 Workshop suffered mainly from poor facilitation of the workshop, there was no assistance whatsoever for people who had minimal knowledge on photography.
I recently attended Parc Cruz‘s Portraits Workshop… Amazing! It’s always good learning something new! 🙂 It was a very rainy 2-day event, but nonetheless, my fellow participants’ mood was never darkened one bit. I can now say I can shoot and post-process at acceptable levels 😀 Very happy how I got to know how to use my camera. It’s really funny that sometime people just buy things without reading the
